Why travelers stop here
Located near Jigok Reservoir, Mullebanga is a specialty chicken and duck baek-suk (white soup) restaurant that locals in Yongin think of when they want to treat guests. The blue forest and the cool, spinning waterwheel welcome visitors. Although it is deep in the city, it is so popular that it is crowded with people. Mullebanga's menu is simple: nurungji chicken baek-suk, duck baek-suk, and pyeon-makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) and golbaengi-muchim (sea snail salad) that go well with them. The baek-suk, made only with native chickens, goes well with the savory nurungji porridge, and side dishes such as freshly made geotjeori (fresh kimchi) and various kimchi are provided. The portions are generous, so many customers take home leftover porridge, and a self-packaging station is provided for such customers. However, packaging of side dishes is limited. Also, duck baek-suk takes a long time to cook, so you must order it by phone in advance. The dining area is Western-style seating, and high chairs for infants are available.
