Why travelers stop here
Geoje Natural Recreation Forest is located at an altitude of 150m to 565m on Noja Mountain, and is predominantly composed of deciduous trees such as maple, oak, Korean maple, and stewartia, making the fresh greenery of spring, the lush foliage of summer, and the autumn leaves beautiful. From the observatory at the mountain peak, you can enjoy a feeling of openness and refreshment while looking out at the large and small islands of Hallyeohaesang National Park and the archipelago. The forest's charm lies in its excellent accessibility to nearby tourist attractions, allowing families to enjoy various experiences and sights together. Accommodation facilities include Forest Houses, 11 condominium-type Forest Culture and Recreation Hall rooms, and 2 Forest Training Centers. The Forest Culture and Recreation Hall has a seminar room, which is widely used for MT (membership training) of elementary, middle, high school, and university students, as well as workshops for corporate employees. In addition to the accommodation facilities, camping decks are well-built, and the deck sites are located in a forest with so many trees that sunlight does not reach even during the day, allowing you to enjoy camping while feeling at one with nature. There is also a Wood Culture Experience Center for children, where they can play and experience activities to become familiar with wood.
