This is a vast area stretching from Anapji Pond in the west to Gyo-dong in the east, and from the Namcheon Stream south of Wolseong Palace in the south to Cheomseong-ro in front of the Ancient Tombs Park in the north. As this region was the heart of the Silla capital, it contains numerous important relics such as Wolseong Palace, Anapji Pond, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and Gyerim Forest, as well as dozens of Silla-era tombs concentrated here, including the tomb of King Naemul. The total area of this district is 668,121㎡ (202,46 pyeong).
