Gobau Sikdang

Located in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Gobau Sikdang is renowned for its songi set meal and sanchae set meal, which are seasoned and cooked by the owner using deodeok, shiitake mushrooms, bracken fern, and bellflower roots that grow wild at the foot of Gayasan Mountain, served with savory doenjang jjigae. The grilled deodeok and shiitake mushrooms have a unique flavor and a bitter taste that lingers on the tongue for a long time, making one's mouth water just thinking about them. Grilled deodeok and mushrooms are also very healthy foods. In particular, the autumn pine mushroom dish is exceptional.
