Gopung Ssambap

Located across from the Ilun-myeon Community Center in Geoje, Gopung Ssambap is a popular hanjeongsik (Korean table d'hôte) restaurant known for its generous portions and excellent taste, often drawing long lines even on weekdays. Situated in an alley, it does not have a dedicated parking lot, so visitors must use the nearby public parking. The clean interior features table seating where you remove your shoes. The menu offers two options: boiled pork ssambap and vegetable ssambap, with a minimum order of two servings. The basic side dishes include a full spread of doenjang jjigae, mackerel jjigae, ssam vegetables, egg roll, bean sprouts, kimchi, pickled vegetables, ssamjang, garlic, salted gallchi (beltfish) innards, and dried radish strips. Additional charges apply for extra jjigae and meat. Nearby attractions include Jisepo Port Waterfront Park and Sea World, making it a great stop on a Geoje sightseeing course.
