The Gokseong 5-day market was relocated here in 2009 as part of the traditional market modernization project, continuing as Gokseong Train Village Traditional Market. Mainly traded items include grains, cotton cloth, bamboo crafts, chestnuts, pottery, other daily necessities, and local specialties such as native honey and Dolshil ramie cloth from Seokgok-myeon.
