'Fair Travel Pungdeong' is a fair travel company that avoids the problems of the tourism industry, which suffers from garbage every vacation season, and operates travel programs that revive the local community through interaction between travelers and local residents. For Fair Travel Pungdeong, travel is a window connecting travelers and the region. Through Fair Travel Pungdeong, travelers can change their perspective on travel and communicate with local residents to gain the true value of travel. Fair Travel Pungdeong started as a community research group in 2010. Members of the community research group saw outsiders satisfied with travel courses infused with the experiences of local residents and agreed to start a travel business that reflects the daily life of Jinan and the lives of local residents. They operate various programs tailored to the characteristics of travelers, such as school trips for students, training programs for companies, and local food trips for gourmets, creating personalized fair travel content. As a result, the number of travelers visiting Fair Travel Pungdeong has increased each year, and about 5,000 users visited Jeolla-do through Fair Travel Pungdeong in one year. Breaking away from the stereotype that travel destinations must create programs targeting outsiders, they also operated camping programs to provide local residents with unique experiences. The one-night, two-day camping program of Fair Travel Pungdeong, planned by fully utilizing the beauty of the region's natural scenery and the environmental advantage of having many mountains and forests, includes an ecological experience program conducted by the ecological education cooperative 'Forest of the Highlands.' Participants make natural bug repellent or mosquito repellent using natural materials, walk along the village forest path with a forest interpreter to observe surrounding vegetation, and discuss the meaning and role of protected trees. Both outsiders and local residents admire Jinan's nature, which boasts the highest forest preservation rate in the country.
