Why travelers stop here
Mimihyang is a Chinese restaurant located in Idong-myeon, Pocheon-si. It became a popular Chinese restaurant after being introduced as a tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) restaurant on the TV show 'Suyo Misikhoe' (Wednesday Food Talk), making reservations difficult. People from all over the country visit to taste their tangsuyuk. Without a reservation, it is almost impossible to dine there. The tangsuyuk, fried using their secret method, is crispy yet chewy, and the sauce is clean. The default is to serve the tangsuyuk with the sauce poured over it, but if you prefer, you can ask for the sauce on the side when ordering. Yangjangpi (spicy seafood salad) is also famous; the vegetables are not stir-fried but cut into strips, and it features a clean mustard flavor. Food is not prepared in advance; it is cooked only after an order is placed. The menu includes meals and dishes typical of a Chinese restaurant. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. You must make a reservation and visit.
