Located in Gyorae-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju City, the Gyorae Ecological Experience Center is a place where you can camp on a vast expanse of lush green grass. It is a natural recreation forest established in the 2.3 million ㎡ Gyorae Gotjawal area. It is a great place to enjoy Jeju's natural ecological environment in Gotjawal, famous for the coexistence of subtropical and temperate plants, and to run around freely with children. The Gyorae Ecological Experience Center is equipped with a campsite, an outdoor stage, and traditional thatched houses, where you can also stay overnight. Nearby attractions include the Jeju Stone Park and Saryeoni Forest Path. This forest is famous for vascular plants (tracheophytes, plants with vascular bundles in their tissues, including ferns and seed plants), and is rich in various vascular plants such as large centipede ferns and shield ferns. It consists of a 3 km trail, a 15 km forest ecological observation path, and mountain trail courses, allowing you to fully enjoy the depths of Gotjawal.
