Gwacheon National Science Museum

Gwacheon National Science Museum is a landmark symbolizing Korea's scientific and technological prowess. It aims to spark interest and curiosity in science and technology among the youth who will lead the future of Korea, helping them cultivate dreams of becoming scientists, and serves as a science culture hall where the general public can understand the scientific principles hidden in everyday life. Over 50% of the exhibits at Gwacheon National Science Museum are hands-on and participatory, utilizing advanced media, creating a science culture space where visitors can enjoy, feel, and be inspired. The museum features five permanent exhibition halls, a special exhibition hall, outdoor exhibition facilities, and astronomical observation facilities. The front plaza includes a Science Plaza, Science Culture Plaza, and a Sculpture Park, providing all visitors with a comfortable resting area to share their impressions and recharge their imagination and creativity regarding science and technology.
