Geumbawi Gamjatang is located near Exit 4 of Police Hospital Station on Line 3. It is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Parking is convenient with facilities available in front of the building. The interior is spacious and clean. Tables are divided into floor seating and chair seating, and the ceiling has blue lighting that gives the room a slight blue tint. There is an indoor playroom for children. The menu includes gamjatang (pork bone soup) and haemul deungppye jjim (spicy steamed pork back bones with seafood), and a single menu item of ppye haejangguk (bone hangover soup). When ordering gamjatang, basic side dishes of chili peppers, carrots, ssamjang (dipping sauce), baechu kimchi (cabbage kimchi), mu kimchi (radish kimchi), and sauce are served, along with dangmyeon (glass noodles) and sujebi (hand-torn dough). Side dishes are available at a self-service bar for additional servings. Extra menu items include various add-ons and additional bones. After finishing the gamjatang, if you order fried rice, they will stir-fry the rice until slightly golden. Nearby parks include Munjeong Neighborhood Park, Ogeum Park, and Sori Park, allowing for linked sightseeing.
