Geumsan Ecological Forest

Geumsan Ecological Forest is a forest located within Geumsan Forest Culture Town on Seonyabong (758.5m). It is an experience center where you can learn about plants you have seen in books but did not know well, as well as rare plants that are hard to encounter, and you can see various plant groups found in the forest, such as wildflowers, medicinal plants, and trees. The vegetation growing in the ecological forest is identified as 545 species in 325 genera and 103 families. Although it may feel difficult due to the many types, once you pass the entrance and enter the forest, gardens with themes such as the Ecological Forest Learning Center, Forest Experience Learning Center, Healing Forest, Ecological Pond, Shrub Garden, and Eight Provinces Forest unfold along the trail. Programs such as forest interpretation and ecological healing forest trail experiences (adventure, experience, conversation, healing, contemplation) are also operated, making it a good place to visit with children.
