Why travelers stop here
Kim Hyun-gwan Bukchon Pen Drawing is located on Samcheong-dong Culture Street, and can be easily found while walking among the serene hanok tile-roofed houses along the alleys of Samcheong-dong. It is a small exhibition hall where artist Kim Hyun-gwan, originally an architect, captures various parts of Bukchon Hanok Village through pen drawings. The delicate hand-drawn works displayed throughout offer a chance to encounter another side of Bukchon. The exhibited drawings can be viewed freely for free, and the artworks are also available for purchase upon inquiry. Additionally, if you're lucky, you may meet the artist working in his studio and have a conversation about the works.
