Daoljae Cooperative

Daoljae, meaning 'all good things come into this world,' is a Korea Tourism Organization-certified Tourism Community (Gwan-gwang Dure) located on Suncheon Culture Street. It is a café and pension that combines tea, travel, and traditional hanok, offering a relaxing urban retreat where guests can enjoy the subtle fragrance of tea while staying overnight.<br><br>At Daoljae Café, you can taste Maesil Ssanghwa Ade (a blend of ssanghwa and plum extract), ssanghwa tea, and Maesil Ssanghwa Affogato (plum ssanghwa extract poured over ice cream instead of coffee).<br><br>Daoljae offers special experiences: a moju-making experience where you make moju with plum ssanghwa extract and various herbal ingredients (available only at Daoljae), a tea fumigation experience where you adjust your body's energy by exposing your eyes, ears, and face to the steam from hot tea water, and a matcha experience where you whisk matcha with a handmade bamboo whisk and drink it. If you make a reservation after visiting, the experience will be prepared in advance for the scheduled time.
