Why travelers stop here
Located on a vast 60,000 pyeong site in Seonheul-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju Island, Gyeongdeokwon (炅德院) is a tea plantation that produces the highest quality eco-friendly green tea in Korea. Jeju Island maintains an average annual temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, and its well-drained soil, which prevents root rot, provides optimal conditions for green tea cultivation. The Evergreen Luce Outdoor Garden utilizes small caves created by lava flows from volcanic eruptions. It features cave ponds, cave bridges, and native Jeju plants and wildflowers. Eve Hall is located in a section where the cave ceiling is open. There are cavities in all directions, with the longest extending over 30 meters. Bats also inhabit this area, and with luck, you may see them. Eve Hall can only be accessed by passing through a tunnel-like cave. At the two cave cafes located at the summit of Gyeongdeokwon (Green Luce) and the entrance (Eve Hall), items such as natural green tea fermented bread, green tea cookies, green tea muffins, green tea lattes, and natural green tea fermented juice catechin are sold.
