Bamboo Valley Theme Park

Bamboo Valley is located in a basin that spreads out like a fan in the valleys of Chuwolsan and Gojisan mountains, centered around the clean lake Damyangho. This area is surrounded by a bamboo forest that has been planted and managed for about 30 years, boasting beautiful natural scenery. In spring, bamboo shoots piercing through the ground in the bamboo field create a spectacular sight, and it is also a habitat where local birds come to lay eggs. It is Damyang's bamboo park, created more than 10 years earlier than Damyang Juknokwon, and is the first bamboo theme park in Damyang built by an individual. Bamboo Valley Theme Park is landscaped with bamboo as its theme, featuring paths between bamboo fields where you can enjoy a bamboo forest bath in the refreshing bamboo grove breeze, stone walls surrounding the bamboo forest, and a dense pine forest path. The bamboo forest and walking trails are well-maintained with careful attention, and although the facilities are aging, it is a quiet and suitable place for healing. While walking along the forest path, you will encounter a crumbling thatched house, which is the filming location for the KBS drama 'Legend of the Homeland.' Wild bamboo tea trees grow naturally in the bamboo forest, allowing you to experience the elegance and taste of tea.
