Kensington French Garden

Kensington Garden is Korea's largest French-themed garden, spanning 20,000 pyeong. It is famous for replicating the 'Château de Villandry' located in Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, France. Set against the superb scenery of Odaesan Mountain at an altitude of 700m, it features a variety of plants and is divided into 10 themed gardens, including the Oriental Garden, Vegetable Garden, and Chef's Garden, making it an ideal place for a stroll. The embroidery garden expresses the changing emotions of love in four patterns. From the Four Seasons Flower Garden, filled with perennials that bloom all year round, to the Chef's Garden, where healthy ingredients are prepared, the garden offers a feast for the eyes. There are also ginkgo tree paths perfect for families and couples, a large oak tree path where children can play joyfully, and a zelkova tree path for quiet contemplation away from the city. In addition, the walking paths made of 100% natural decomposed granite soil, sourced from Jinbu-myeon, Pyeongchang, are perfect for barefoot walks.
