Duksung Women's University Museum is a museum that systematically displays the folk cultural heritage of Korean women from the Joseon Dynasty to the modern era, focusing on showing the life and culture of Korean women. It first opened on May 1, 1971, in a part of Unhyeongung in Unni-dong, Jongno-gu, and moved to Ssangmun-dong, Dobong-gu in March 1982. The museum houses calligraphy, ceramics, folk crafts, modern art, and materials related to the museum, with a particular emphasis on collecting and exhibiting folk artifacts related to women's lives. The exhibition hall displays collections including calligraphy, folk paintings, paintings, manuscripts, rubbings, photographs, earthenware, porcelain, roof tiles, as well as wood, bamboo, and lacquerware, metal products, jade and stone items, leather and fabric goods, embroidery, clothing, and official belts. These are exhibited in categories of excavated items, purchased items, donated items, and deposited items. Notably, there are many unique embroidery pieces, paper crafts, and wood crafts.
