Demisaem

Demisaem is located in Sangchukmakgol, Wonsinam Village, Jinan-gun. The peak where Demisaem, the source of the Seomjin River, is located is called Cheonsangdemi, and the word 'demi' originates from the Jeolla dialect 'deomi' (peak). Cheonsangdemi means 'the peak that rises from the Seomjin River to the heavens.' To reach Demisaem, you can walk from Palseonjeong Pavilion in Wonsinam Village along a 1.19km trail for about an hour. The area is well-preserved in its natural state, making it useful as a natural ecology learning site.
