Dongnae Cultural Center

Dongnae Cultural Center was established to discover, preserve, and pass on local culture for a high cultural standard in the Dongnae area, and to promote residents' pride and cultural advancement through various cultural events. It was founded as a corporation in 1998 and moved to the Dongnae Cultural Center in 1999. It operates three main projects: organizing local cultural events, cultural and arts education programs, and national subsidy support projects. Along with arts and culture lectures, it faithfully fulfills its role by carrying out differentiated projects such as historical festivals, ancestral rites, and local historical research, befitting a region known for tradition and loyalty. The reenactment of historical events in the Dongnae area is a unique feature of the Busan Dongnae Cultural Center and is positively evaluated for continuing Busan's traditions.
