Dong-Eui University Central Library

Opened in 1977, Dong-Eui University Central Library moved to a modern building with one basement floor and nine above-ground floors covering an area of 14,061㎡ in 1984, and currently holds approximately 1.2 million books and 2,904 reading seats. In 1985, the library pioneered library automation among domestic university libraries by establishing the Dong-Eui University Library Automation System (DELIAS). It has digitized bibliographic databases of about 1.2 million volumes, university journals, research institute journals, and master's and doctoral theses, and has implemented a digital library based on overseas academic databases such as IEEE/IEE. It has signed academic information cooperation agreements with institutions such as KERIS, the National Assembly Library, and the National Library of Korea, and has formed the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional University Library Information Exchange Council among private university libraries in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions to promote resource sharing. Since 2000, the library has been open to local community organizations and residents, serving as a regional knowledge information center and lifelong education venue. It has been designated as a Depository Library by the United Nations, providing international relations academic materials. In 2019, it established the Seokdang Collabo Lounge, a complex learning and cultural space, offering a shared space for collaboration, communication, and creation, and utilizing it for educational and cultural programs.
