Why travelers stop here
My Pottery is a pottery workshop and café located in Sudong-myeon, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Although it requires climbing a sloping path along a hill from the main road, it is situated in a quiet rural village, offering a peaceful and cozy atmosphere. In front of the café building, a green lawn garden spreads out with tables placed here and there, perfect for enjoying tea in the open air. The first floor of the building is a pottery workshop where you can choose between hand-building or wheel-throwing for a one-day class. It is a space where the joy of shaping your desired form with your own hands and the view outside double the happiness. The second floor is a cozy café space with large lattice windows on all sides, offering views of mountain ridges in the distance. Thanks to its hillside location, you can enjoy an unobstructed, refreshing landscape. It is a place that makes you want to visit regardless of the season or weather. In particular, the floor seating arranged along one wall is so popular that it is a reservation-only seat with a one-hour time limit. The third-floor rooftop is open, ideal for enjoying an unobstructed view outdoors. If you have time, it is a great place to indulge in the simple luxury of a fragrant cup of tea by a scenic window after the workshop experience.
