This stone Buddha, also called Daeam Stone Buddha, is located on the mid-slope of Manje Peak, a branch of Duseungsan Mountain in Jeongeup-si, Jeollabuk-do. It wears a large hat-like rim on its head, indicating Confucian influences. The shoulders are somewhat hunched, and there are U-shaped robe folds under the chin. Below the abdomen, the robe folds are V-shaped, with three parallel lines descending under the wrists. The right hand is raised to shoulder height with the palm facing outward and fingertips pointing upward. The left hand also shows the palm, but with fingertips pointing downward. This Buddha statue focuses on facial and hand expressions, displaying folk characteristics. It is 4m tall with a shoulder circumference of 2.7m, carved from a single stone, and well-preserved. Nearby tourist attractions include Changdong Seowon, Baekunam Stone Standing Buddha, Malmokjeong and Persimmon Tree, Jeon Bong-jun's Old House, and Malmokjangteo Memorial Site, allowing for linked tours.
