Maekdo Ecological Park

Maekdo Ecological Park is a naturally formed riverside area from the Nakdong River Estuary Dam to the Airport Ramp, and is designated as Nakdong River Estuary Natural Monument No. 179 (migratory bird habitat). This area was historically used as agricultural land for rice farming and has been managed as a feeding and resting place for winter migratory birds. In addition to consideration for winter migratory birds, the park features reed fields, a lotus complex, and an aquatic plant garden to provide attractions for citizens, along with various sports and rest facilities.
