Borimadang & Sihwa Village

Seosan-dong Sihwa Village is a place that evokes memories and nostalgia, offering a view of the port and sea from Borimadang, along with beautiful village scenery. The residents of Seosan-dong personally wrote poems, and about ten poets active in the Mokpo area composed poems themed on Seosan-dong, creating woodblock prints with poems and flowers placed throughout the alleys. Additionally, various techniques of murals have been created using subjects such as sea fishing, landscapes, and boats, which suit the fishing village of Seosan-dong, transforming it into a warm and vibrant village. This place, created with the writings and drawings of residents, includes Yeonhui's Super, a filming location for the movie 1987, which is a popular tourist attraction. At Yeonhui's Super, a photo zone is operated, and visitors can experience recreations of scenes from the movie.
