Chodo Port

Chodo Port, located in Goseong County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, is a small and modest port that appears a little further up from Hwajinpo Beach. As sea urchins are a specialty here, it is also called Sea Urchin Village. At the port, there are sculptures shaped like sea urchins and clams, a red lighthouse, and a mural of a haenyeo (female diver) holding a sea urchin. Although it is a small port, various fish species are caught by season, and many people enjoy fishing here. If you want to relax while looking at the calm sea, visiting Chodo Port is a good option.
