This is a natural recreation forest located on the slopes of Yonghwasan (878m) in Sabuk-myeon, Chuncheon-si. Yonghwasan is one of the top 100 famous mountains selected by the Korea Forest Service and became even more famous after BTS members climbed it in a TV program aired in 2020. Yonghwasan Natural Recreation Forest features a harmonious mix of coniferous and deciduous trees such as pine, oak, birch, and larch, with clear streams flowing through, creating a pristine atmosphere. It is equipped with accommodation facilities, a camping ground, hiking trails, walking paths, and a forest bathing area, providing an ideal environment for healing in nature. Yonghwasan Natural Recreation Forest is also renowned as a specialized recreation forest for hiking and camping, as well as an experiential forest sports recreation forest. It operates an indoor forest sports experience facility, the Forest Complex Experience Center, which is usable regardless of season or weather. Here, you can experience the 'Vertical Slide' for vertical descent, 'Zipzag' (a zipline-type activity along rails with safety gear), 'Rope Adventure' (a course with ropes and suspension bridges), and 'Design Climbing Wall' with various difficulty levels. Outdoor facilities include an artificial rock climbing wall, 'Flying Squirrel' (quick jump), and 'Flying in the Forest' (zipline). Additionally, various programs such as woodcraft experiences and forest interpretation are offered.
