Museum X

MuseumX is an immersive exhibition experience space that opened in July 2023. It was established by XOBIS, a company that has produced and built realistic content for numerous exhibition halls and museums, including the National Museum of Korea and the Memorial Hall of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. It is a new concept exhibition space utilizing XOBIS's technological capabilities. The exhibition hall, covering a total area of approximately 530 pyeong (about 1,750 square meters) across four floors, is filled with various experiential facilities that allow visitors to experience existing media technologies such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, holograms, and games with all five senses. It features beam projectors with 130K resolution, light and video realized by a total of 22 million LEDs, and participation from top artists, designers, architects, AI engineers, musicians, and other leading figures in each field. MuseumX consists of a total of 4 zones and 16 experiential facilities. Zone 1 has 6 experiential facilities where visitors can experience changes in light and sound according to body movements. Zone 2 is a time travel space with 3 experiential facilities where light, sound, and waves can be visually experienced. The space, with a ceiling height of 7.5m surrounded by media screens, was created with the participation of video artists, sound artists, and professional perfumers to form a realistic experience space. Zone 3 is a multi-dimensional ambiance space where visitors can experience a feeling of floating in an unrealistic space beyond the limits of time and space. SketchX, where a humanoid robot equipped with artificial intelligence draws portraits on the spot, is one of the most popular contents among the experiential facilities. Zone 4 is an interactive space where visitors can create their own new space based on experiences from previous zones. Visitors can take photos with images created through chatting with an AI Composer as backgrounds, and all images can be transmitted to their mobile phones.
