Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Since the Samhan period, Miryang City, where agricultural culture (including Susanje, one of the three major irrigation facilities) has developed, holds five folk performances designated as national and Gyeongsangnam-do intangible cultural heritage every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at the yard of Yeongnamnu, a representative landmark of Miryang City and one of the three pavilions in Korea. This annual event aims to provide sightseeing attractions for tourists visiting Miryang. It also offers visitor participation events, providing souvenirs such as wish pouches for wishing the end of COVID-19. (Only one of the five performances is held on a rotating basis.)
