Baengnyeon Hanwoo

Located inside the alley of Yangsan-dong, Gwangju, Baengnyeon Hanwoo is a Korean beef specialty restaurant. Using only the highest-grade Korean beef, the restaurant's galbitsal (rib meat) features three layers of muscle and fat, providing excellent flavor and texture. The salchisal (chuck flap), also known as flower meat, is rich and savory, and you can also taste anchangsal (thin skirt meat), of which only about 1kg is produced per cow. Meal options include raw meat and live octopus tangtang-i, galnak-tang (short rib and octopus soup), chadol-doenjang jeongol (brisket soybean paste hot pot), yukhoe bibimbap (beef tartare bibimbap), and hanwoo yukgaejang (spicy beef soup). When ordering Korean beef, special cuts such as cheonyeop (omasum) and seonji (coagulated blood) are served as complimentary items, allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors.
