The 'Byeokchoji Arboretum World Dahlia Festival' is held at Byeokchoji Arboretum located in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do. In celebration of autumn 2023, the 'World Dahlia Festival' will be held from September 8 to October 20, when frost sets in, at Byeokchoji Arboretum, a representative attraction of Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do. In the Garden of Excitement and the Garden of Myth, the representative gardens of Byeokchoji Arboretum, visitors can observe various dahlia flowers from around the world harmonizing with about 150 other types of flowers. Additionally, in the flower garden within Byeokchoji Arboretum, about 70 types of dahlia flowers, including Freya's Paso Doble, Big Brother, and Moonlight, planted throughout the arboretum, are displayed in individual pots, providing visual delight. Alongside this, an exhibition of new dahlia varieties being developed by dahlia specialist breeder Song Jun-ho, CEO of Danbi Farm, and an introduction to their development methods offer an educational aspect. Byeokchoji Arboretum, beautifully adorned with gardens from East and West, is a major filming location for dramas, movies, and entertainment programs leading K-culture, and for the autumn of 2023, it has prepared an even wider variety of flowers.
