Gangchon Railbike & Samaksan Chuncheon Festival Hot Spots 1day Tour

Gangchon Rail Park Gyeonggang Railbike is a leisure sport facility located in the area around the previous Gyeonggang Station. The railbike course stretches for 8 kilometers from the old red brick station through forests and across the Bukhangang River before returning to Gyeonggang Station. The full course takes around 1 hour to complete and operates in 1 hour 30 minute intervals. A key point to this railbike is that they offer pet bikes as well, something not found at other railbike locations throughout Korea. 

Located halfway up a mountain in Sabuk-myeon, Chuncheon, Happy Grassland Ranch is famous as an experience ranch and a popular spot for social media photos. Spanning approximately 231,400㎡ (70,000 pyeong) of grassland, this ranch is a Gangwon Hanwoo experience farm where Korean beef cattle are grazed. Visitors can directly feed and interact with various animals such as cows, sheep, rabbits, and goats. After walking about 15–20 minutes up a mountain path from the animal feeding area, you will encounter the famous photo zone of Happy Grassland Ranch. The endless mountain ridges and Chuncheon Lake nestled in their embrace create a dreamy landscape. You can also see grazing cattle. The ranch has a cafe that sells food and beverages, and its Hanwoo burger is particularly famous. The patties are made fresh daily using Grade 1 or higher Gangwon Hanwoo beef. The Hanwoo burger here became even more famous after it was featured in the 2020 TV program "In the Soop" where BTS members were seen eating it. Café 'Gamjatbat' is a café located on the slope where the Soyang River flows. It offers various sweet desserts and refreshing drinks, but it is especially popular because of the sunflower farm that spreads out right in front. Sitting on the second floor of Gamjatbat, you can see the Soyang River and sunflowers spreading out toward the large window at a glance. A total of six types of sunflowers are cultivated in the sunflower field of Gamjatbat. There is also the fun of picking and cutting the flowers you want to make a bouquet. The drinks feature lattes and ades made with various fruits. You can also enjoy desserts filled with plenty of fresh cream.
