Gadeokdo Oeyangpo Observatory

Gadeokdo Oeyangpo Observatory is an observatory built on a hill road leading to Oeyangpo Village, the innermost village of Gadeokdo. The observatory has a parking lot, which also serves as an observation area, offering views of Oeyangpo Port and the sea in front of Oeyangpo, as well as the Geoga Bridge and Geoje Island, making it a place with beautiful scenery. Below the observatory, there is the Oeyangpo Wildflower Garden, where various types of wildflowers are planted, especially hydrangeas, attracting many visitors during the blooming season. Nearby the observatory, there is also the Oeyangpo Battery position built by the Japanese military, providing an opportunity to reflect on the pain of history.
