Why travelers stop here
Jamdubong The Nine is a restaurant located at the Jamdubong pier in Mangwon Hangang Park, Hapjeong-dong, at the northern end of Yanghwa Bridge in Mapo-gu. It now operates exclusively as a restaurant, no longer functioning as a pier. With three floors, it offers a unique experience where diners can grill meat and enjoy views of the Han River from spacious indoor areas and outdoor decks, making it popular among young people. The menu includes Korean pork fresh belly, fresh pork neck, beef rib finger meat, and smoked duck. Many visitors come to dine while watching the sunset and night views, so there are often long waits, especially in the evenings and on weekends. It is a 10-minute walk from Exit 8 of Hapjeong Station.
