Seokparang

Seokparang is a place built by Heungseon Daewongun, the father of King Gojong, the last king of the Joseon Dynasty, who moved the sarangchae (men's quarters) of his villa 'Seokpajeong' here intact. As befits a beautiful villa of a powerful family, upon entering the gate of Seokparang, a garden in the late Joseon style and three elegant hanok (traditional Korean houses) unfold before your eyes. The royal Korean cuisine at Seokparang adds a touch of refined sincerity with carefully selected ingredients and homemade sauces, and you can also enjoy traditional liquors made by artisans from across the country.
