Why travelers stop here
Bu-il Galmaegi Restaurant has been operating since 1984 and specializes in Korean beef galmaegi (skirt meat). The menu includes galmaegi sal (skirt meat), u-seol (beef tongue), hangjeong sal (pork collar), so-makchang (beef small intestines), and cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew). The restaurant has about 15 tables, a mix of floor seating and table seating. When ordering the signature dish, galmaegi sal, it comes with basic side dishes such as pa-chae (scallion salad), mu-chae (radish salad), salt, and about three other side dishes. After eating the meat, it is also good to mix rice into the cheonggukjang.
