Why travelers stop here
Woo Sung Sikdang, a famous driver's restaurant in Jayang-dong known for its delicious food, is a place where you can experience the depth of 30 years of tradition with its nutritious stone pot rice. Featured on SBS's <Live Broadcast Today>, this restaurant offers delicious stir-fried chicken, country-style cheonggukjang, grilled mackerel pike, and o-bul-baek, all served with flavorful pot rice cooked by hand, not by machine. The nutritious pot rice, topped with sweet potatoes, potatoes, sweet pumpkin, jujubes, peanuts, and other nuts evenly placed over fluffy rice, can be enjoyed by scooping out the rice and then adding water to make nurungji (scorched rice). The spicy stir-fried chicken and the sweet and savory seasoned mackerel pike are also excellent, and it is convenient to refill side dishes at the self-service bar inside the restaurant.
