Why travelers stop here
Established in 1937, Cheongjinok is a hangover soup specialty restaurant run by the third generation in Pimatgol. It is the original of hangover soup, steadfastly carrying on its tradition for many years. The signature menu, Yangseonji Haejangguk, features a deep and savory beef bone broth simmered for a long time, generously filled with fresh blood curd, tender beef tripe, and crunchy cabbage leaves and bean sprouts, all boiled thoroughly. Recognized for its consistent taste and historical value, it was proudly selected as a Seoul Future Heritage in 2013.
