Yonggeumok

Yonggeumok is a loach soup specialty restaurant that opened in 1932. It is the originator of Seoul-style loach soup, which is made by boiling whole loaches. The broth is made by boiling beef brisket or beef tripe and adding various seasonings, so it does not have the fishy smell of loach and boasts a spicy flavor similar to yukgaejang.
