Located in the food alley of Dongdaemun Market, the original Jinokhwa Halmae Wonjo Dakhanmari opened in 1978 and has been in operation ever since. Only fresh young chickens that are 35 days old are used for cooking. The menu consists solely of a single dish: dakhanmari (whole chicken soup). The broth that is boiled and served is rich and has a refreshing taste. Various add-ons such as tteoksari (rice cake), pasari (green onion), gamsasari (potato), and guksusari (noodles) can be added and enjoyed.
