Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Opened in 1971 and now run by the second generation, Myeongdong Baekje Samgyetang uses only 49-day-old young chickens slaughtered on the same day at its own farm. It has adhered to the traditional method for over 50 years, creating a clear samgyetang broth using only ginseng, jujubes, glutinous rice, and garlic. Additionally, all side dishes such as kimchi and kkakdugi are made fresh daily and served to customers. This place has been introduced as a famous samgyetang restaurant on various TV programs, newspapers, and monthly magazines. It has also been featured on foreign broadcasts from Japan, China, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
