Gaehwa

Located near the Chinese Embassy in South Korea, Gaehwa is a Chinese restaurant that has been popular in Myeongdong for a long time. The uni-jjajang (noodles with black bean sauce) is generously filled with minced meat, and the spicy jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) features a rich, spicy broth with an abundance of various seafood and large vegetables. The signature dish here, fried meat, has a thinner batter than tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) and is eaten dipped in salt and pepper.
