Why travelers stop here
Namsan Donkatsu first opened in 1992 at 103-1 Sopa-ro, its current location. At that time, the Sopa-ro area had many restaurants targeting families visiting Namsan Cable Car and the taxi drivers who brought them. Namsan Donkatsu also operated as a driver's restaurant. It gained fame among taxi drivers for its large donkatsu size and unique sauce containing chili peppers. Since 2015, it has been operating across from Baekbeom Plaza. The store sign reads 'Namsan Donkatsu.' It serves old-style donkatsu with soup, kimchi, kkakdugi, and chili peppers with ssamjang as side dishes, with unlimited refills of soup and side dishes. On the restaurant wall, it says 'SINCE 1992 Park Jemin Namsan Donkatsu First Store History.' Address: 23 Sopa-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul (Namchang-dong)
