Pureun Arboretum is Seoul's first municipal arboretum, created by transforming an empty lot into an eco-friendly space. It was designated as Seoul's No. 1 public arboretum in 2018, and it collects, propagates, and preserves various plant genetic resources. Located near Hangdong Reservoir, the arboretum features 20 themed gardens, including Osaek Garden, Wildflower Garden, and Children's Garden. Through ecological education and gardening programs operated at the Information Center and Forest Education Center, it serves as a place of learning in nature.
