Why travelers stop here
Jeonju Gamjatang Pyehaejangguk is located near the Gangseo-gu립 Gomdalrae Library, exit 3 of Kkachisan Station on subway lines 2 and 5. There is no private parking lot at the shopping complex where the store is located. Visitors should use public transportation or, if driving, use nearby public parking lots. This place is famous for its 24-hour hangover soup restaurant that generously adds outer cabbage leaves. Upon entering the store, the hall is spacious with heavy wooden tables lined up. The representative menu includes gamjatang (large, medium), bone hangover soup, and outer cabbage leaf hangover soup. The hangover soup broth is not heavy but rather refreshing and clean. As an additional menu, there is fried rice, which is popular when eaten after gamjatang by mixing the fried rice with seaweed flakes at the end. Nearby are Bongje Mountain and Maebong Mountain, making it good to combine with hiking courses before or after a visit.
