Gangchon Ssambap

Gangchon Ssambap is located between Sangmyung University Museum and Total Museum in Pyeongchang-dong. The restaurant is a standalone building with a large dedicated parking lot in the front yard, making it convenient for car access. Inside, ocher-colored tables and wooden flooring catch the eye. The spacious main hall and wide gaps between tables make it suitable for various group events or family gatherings. The signature menu is ssambap (rice wrapped in leafy vegetables). It is served with neat side dishes and a variety of vegetables, filling the table. In particular, the wraps are a strength of Gangchon Ssambap, as they use various vegetables grown organically on-site. Adding boiled pork slices to the ssambap is very popular. At the end, you can also enjoy nurungji (scorched rice) rice. Nearby attractions include Yeongin Literature Museum and Kim Chong Yung Museum, making it a good place to visit after a meal.
