The original name at opening was 'Doenjang Myeongga', but customers who tasted the doenjang exclaimed 'The doenjang tastes like art', leading to the name change to 'Doenjang Art and Liquor'. The menu is divided into meal items and side dishes, with the signature dish being the Doenjang Jeongshik, where you mix strong doenjang containing tofu with vegetables like chives and lettuce, along with side dishes, according to your taste. Various alcoholic beverages that pair well with the meal are also sold.
