Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
This is a sunflower garden created on approximately 33,000m² of land around Nanjung Reservoir in Gyodong-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon. The Nanjung-ri Sunflower Village Garden was established by about 100 residents of Nanjung-ri who formed a village community and planted around 100,000 sunflowers on public waters where farming is not possible. The sunflowers, harmonizing with the nearby Nanjung Reservoir and Sujeongsan Mountain, create a spectacular view, attracting many tourists during the autumn sunflower blooming season. On days when the sunflowers are in poor condition, the garden is open to the public for free.
