Why travelers stop here
Yeouicheon Stream is a local stream that originates from Cheonggyesan Mountain in Sinwon-dong, Seocho-gu, and joins Yangjaecheon Stream. It is a Class 2 local stream belonging to the Han River system and is the first tributary of Yangjaecheon Stream. The old name of Yeouicheon Stream was 'Yeomgokcheon', and local residents also called it 'Yeonnaecheon' because it was 'a stream where fog frequently occurs'. The stream length is 4.85 km, the channel length is 6.87 km, and the basin area is 12.98 km². Yeouicheon Stream is one of the hidden cherry blossom spots. In spring, the cherry trees planted along the road next to Yeouicheon Stream turn pink. When in full bloom, it becomes crowded with people taking photos and taking walks.
