Incheon North Port, which has an industrial complex in its hinterland, consists of the Multipurpose Pier, Pier 4, and INTC Pier 3. Incheon North Port is a comprehensive port handling industrial raw and subsidiary materials such as logs, scrap metal, and feed ingredients, with a total of 26 berths including 12 berths for 50,000-ton vessels. Companies are mainly specialized in wood, dealing with petrochemicals, timber, plywood, and construction and interior materials, and are tailored to Incheon North Port, which handles industrial raw and subsidiary materials. It is a representative pier for water cargo handling, equipped with port loading/unloading and logistics warehouse facilities, and handling customs clearance and cargo transport brokerage. Incheon North Port Multipurpose Pier has installed and operated four logo lights to spread safety culture and prevent nighttime safety accidents. Logo lights are devices that project text or images onto the floor or walls using lighting, increasing illuminance while allowing messages to be easily seen by port workers and vehicle drivers. They are installed facing the pier entrance and warehouse walls to prevent safety accidents that may occur at night. The safety rules include mandatory wearing of safety gear, compliance with vehicle speed limits within the port, prohibition of mobile phone use during work, driving, or walking, and use of designated walkways when moving within the port.
